5.USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

5.1 We request and collect the following personal information about you when you use the WorknStay platform. This information is necessary for the proper conduct of our activities and to enable us to comply with our legal obligations. Without it, we may not be able to provide you with the requested services.

  • Account Information. When creating your WorknStay account, we ask you to provide certain information about yourself, such as First Name, Last Name, Complete Residential Address, Email, Phone Number, Gender, Age, Worker/Owner/Company Status, Employer’s Contact Information, Profile Photo, Allergies.
  • Profile and Listing Information. In order to use certain features of the WorknStay platform (such as booking or creating a listing), we may ask you to provide additional information, such as Listing Title, Permit Number issued by the Corporation of the Quebec Tourism Industry, Accommodation Type, Accommodation Description, Number of Rooms, Number of People Allowed in the Accommodation, Room Name, Bed Size, Bathroom Type, Number of Parking Spaces, Accommodation Facilities, Presence of Children, Pets in the Accommodation, Smoking or Non-Smoking Environment, Accommodation Photos, Accommodation Price, Included Amenities, Items Guests Must Bring, Included Accommodation Facilities, Nearby Locations and Services, Complete Residential Address of the Accommodation, Minimum Stay Nights, Maximum Stay Nights, Expected Check-in and Check-out Times, Animal Regulations, Smoking Regulations, Additional Guest Requirements, Additional Accommodation Regulations.
  • Identity Verification Information. To help create and maintain a trusted environment, we may collect identity verification information to the extent permitted by applicable laws or other authentication information. This information may include: Driver’s License or any government-issued identification.
  • Payment Information. To use certain features of the WorknStay platform (such as booking or creating a listing), we may ask you to provide certain financial information to facilitate payment processing used by WorknStay, such as: Credit Card Number via Stripe and Paypal platforms, or your email address via the Paypal platform.
  • Communications with WorknStay and Other Members. When you communicate with WorknStay or use the WorknStay platform to communicate with other members, we collect information about your communications and any information you choose to transmit.

 

6.RETENTION PERIOD OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

6.1 We will retain your personal data for as long as we deem it necessary to enable you to use our services, to provide our services to you (including the maintenance of your online user account (if created)), to comply with applicable laws, to resolve disputes with any party, and to enable us to conduct our activities, including detecting and preventing fraud or other illegal activities. All personal data we retain will be subject to this privacy policy.
